STEP 1 | Email

Create a work-ready email.

Creating a professional email address is the first step in your job process. Your email is often the first introduction to you by the employer so make a good impression.

You can sign-up for a free email account through a web-based email provider (Gmail). Once you create your account, remember to check your account frequently and respond promptly to potential employers.

Examples of professional emails are:

  • First Initial.Last Name – J.Smith@mailprovider.com

  • First Name.Last Name – Jaylen.Smith@mailprovider.com

 
 

STEP 2 | Documents

Proof of Identification

  • Birth Certificate/ U.S. Passport/ Social Security Card

If born outside of the United States, please provide naturalization card or valid work permit card.

Proof of Address

  • Any Bill, Bank Statement (Must Be Dated within the Last 60 Days) or current lease

Income Verification

  • Three recent pay stubs, 2023 W2 or 1099 Forms or Benefits Award Letter

Report Card

  • Recent Report Card, Transcript or Diploma

Working Papers (Required for accepted applicants under 18)

 

STEP 3 | Attire

Make sure you have work appropriate attire.

Your clothes will make an impression about the type of employee you’ll be and first impressions are lasting. Feel free to ask, if you’re not sure what attire is expected.
